December Happenings

We had a fun and crazy month adjusting to a newborn in the house and keeping up all of our Christmas Traditions.  

We braved the chaos and constructed Gingerbread houses

Which was great until they fell off the counter :/

Will had his preschool program at school.

Santa came a bit early to our house and brought sleeping bags and a tent!  

The kids had fun camping out in our family room.

We visited Meijer Gardens for a chance to see Santa's Reindeer.  A smashing success!

Will LOVES basketball shorts.  Everyday, he comes home and changes into them.  He even insisted on going out into the snow with them on.  Oh boy.

The Riedberger's were in town from Texas - so thankful for their in-laws living so close!

We headed to Chicago for Ben's company Christmas party.  Maggie is our dear friends from college, Gary and Beth's, adorable little girl - maybe we could set them up in about 15 years:)

We also got to catch up with our buddies the Gallaghers.

My mom throw an old fashion "sip and see" to meet Isaac.  It was so special to see all of my "church moms" and Naperville friends!  This is Margaret, my parents old next door neighbor when I was born.  She has stayed a dear friend - we had to take a picture because we have this exact same picture of Margaret holding me when I was a few weeks old:)

Phew - it was a busy month, but full of so many dear friends, fun and celebrations!
