The best part about being two....

....is getting dirty!

What started as an innocent adventure to water Grams' garden turned into a gigantic waterfest. Here are some pictures of Paige's water fight with the hose. She not only successfully watered all of the plants and flowers, but managed to soak herself and Grams as well. What fun - Paige sure had a great time and Grams was such a trooper for letting Paige water her☺

8 Months

Will is officially 8 months old!!

He's spending his days growing, climbing, laughing and babbling.
I love hearing his say, "mamama" and "dadada". His latest thing is that he laughs every time I say, "all done?" I'm not sure why he thinks this is so funny but it's pretty adorable.

Cold weekend at Higgins

We spent last week up at Higgins Lake. Christine and Rodney came with their two little girls, Tessa and Audri. Ben has known Rodney since he was a little boy and they are dear friends of ours. Breanne and Ryan also came with Cash and Parker for the day on Saturday and despite the cold, COLD summer weather, we all had a great time. It's so much fun to see all of the kids playing together and it was especially cute to watch the 2-year-olds interact and talk to each other. Here are a few pictures of our fun, friend-filled weekend. We feel so blessed to have such wonderful friends!

We couldn't get them to sit any closer but I swear, they love each other:)

Better late than never!

Will turned 7 months a few weeks ago. While I usually post a little blurb on his growth, I seemed to have forgotten:) So better late than never.....

Will is 7 months (plus a few weeks) old!

In the past month, Will's grown into a complete boy. He's gotten his bottom two teeth (which are very adorable) and is moving and climbing all over the place. He continues to be the happiest little boy and has started babbling with lots of "ma, ma's" and "da, da's". His smile seems to be plastered on his face all the time.

We adore his little nose scrunch!

Life is starting to get a little more interesting with two little ones - Paige has never been a jealous sister but now that Will is mobile, she has started to keep a close eye on him. She's very protective of her toys and we are constantly hearing, "NO WILL!!!!" coming out of her mouth. Needless to say, Will is becoming our sharing guinea pig as we teach Paige the value of sharing her toys with him.

Their interactions are becoming cuter by the day. They are sharing a room up at the cottage and our favorite thing to hear is Paige trying to soothe Will when he wakes up. If he is crying, we often hear her say, "It's ok, Will" or "Oh no! Will's crying!!"

Paige is taking her role as Big Sister very seriously!!!
