Hybrid

I did this exact picture when Will was a few days old - so naturally it was fun to mesh all of our kids faces together to try and determine who Annie resembles. We've decided that she is a hybrid - a complete mix of both features from Paige and Will with a few new ones that she can claim as her own. There is no doubt about it, these three are siblings!!!!

We've had a great few days adjusting to three kids at home. Paige and Will are doing amazing with the transition - it's safe to say they are completely in love with their new sister. There have been no meltdowns or outbursts. They can't wait to say good morning to her each day and beg to hold her from the moment they come downstairs. What a blessing!!!!

Here are a few pictures of Annie's first few days at home:

Annie's days and nights are a little messed up (her and I are getting some great bonding time throughout the night!) On Monday, it took until 4:45 PM for us to finally see her eyes so I decided I best document the moment:) As of today, she finally is "waking up" throughout the day so we'll see if tonight is better.

First bath -
Annie really doesn't like to be messed with so diaper changes, wardrobe changes and bath time are not high on her list:)

First trip to the doctor today -
she's almost back to her birth weight at 7 lbs 7 oz and doing great!!!

On her way!

We woke up this morning to a bit of a surprise - our new baby girl has decided that today is the day she's going to make her entrance into the world!!! We are at the hospital and doing great.....we are so excited to meet our new little princess and can't believe that today is the day! Maybe this is a forecast that she'll always be keeping us on our toes since my due date is still a little less than 2 weeks away!

Artists in Training

Last week we went to a pottery painting place for our friend Ainsley's 3rd birthday. It was the kids first experience with painting and they had an absolute blast. We loved spending time with our friends and celebrating your special day, Miss Ainsley!

Snow Globe

On Tuesday night, it literally felt like we were stuck inside a snow globe - we watched out our windows as snow was falling like crazy and blowing everywhere. Fifteen or so inches later, we were snowed in for two days!!

Hard to see but the snow is piled up as high as our swing set after being plowed!

A glimpse of just some of the snow against our house

The kids were mesmerized watching the snow plow from our laundry room window. Ben and I have never been so thankful to have a snow removal service - it took Ben over 2 hours just to snow blow our sidewalks. I can't begin to imagine how long our driveway would've taken!!

After Ben's sidewalk excursion, he spent another hour digging our kids a snow fort....he was one busy daddy!

Our kids couldn't be more different when it comes to snow - Paige LOVES it. She doesn't mind being cold and certainly doesn't mind getting a little snow on her face. She had a ball sledding, sliding, shoveling and hiking in the snow.

Paige after face planting - happy as can be!

Will, on the other hand, was done after about 5 minutes. We're going to have to work on him and his tolerance of cold!!

We did manage to have a few moments of happiness from our little guy - and lots of fun snow memories for our family!!
