The day our friends came to play

Our good buddies from home came to visit Bree and I at the beach this summer.  We had so much fun playing with all of our friends!  There are 17 kids between the 6 of us - there will be 20 by the time baby ferwerda arrives.  Wowzers!

Will's first golf outing with the boys.  Definitely one of Ben's proudest moments!  Will LOVED golfing.  He was so bummed when the 9th hole came around.

And these sweet girls melt their daddy's heart:)  So thankful for their sweet friendship already!!

We're thrilled to announce that a baby BOY will be joining our family at the beginning of December.  We are so excited for Will to have another "guy" in the house....he told me he's going to teach him how to play golf, football and how to do ninja moves:)

(For the record, I am 0 for 4 in guessing the gender of our baby.  I was convinced Paige was a boy, Will was a girl, Annie a boy and was very certain we were having another girl this time around:)

We had an incredibly HOT 4th of July ..... man, it was hot.  Temps danced around 100⁰ but we still managed to get in some time at the beach, a parade, an outdoor picnic and some fabulous fireworks. 

Best thing to do when it's so hot is put on your 4th of July bathing suits and cool off at the beach:)
