We ventured West for some mountain air this past month.  We just love going to Colorado and spending time in the mountains.

Week at the Lake

We loved spending a long weekend at the lake while Brett, Kate, Maren and Truett were here.  I love the memories my kids are making with their cousins - they are such great buddies!!!

Award Ceremony

Per my mother's grand idea, we had a family march madness tournament (obviously back in March:).  It took a few months, but this summer we were finally together to hand out the awards.

Our Vanna White, Paige, handed out the special prizes:)

 And the first place winner goes to...... LOLO!!!

We are so proud and impressed of her knowledge and skills in NCAA basketballj:)

There was a trophy kiss and an acceptance speech:)  Yes, we have a family trophy .... Ben and I were so close to being the proud owners .... but Lolo will take excellent care of it until next year!

Tin Boat

I have to admit, I was unsure how much fun our family would truly have on a tin boat.  But I have to hand it to Ben, it has been a BLAST this summer to experience all of the fun that a tin boat has to offer.  Who knew:)
