Second Child Syndrome

I promised myself that I wouldn't fall prey to the "second child syndrome" but I have.  Will turned 1 month on Monday and I have no new pictures to post.  I have tried to be really good about taking pictures, but the number of pictures we have of Will is way less than that of Paige at this age.  

Now that we have a blog, I find myself updating pictures weekly - that plays a part in this dilemma as well:)  I do have Will's "One Month Picture" to show.  I took this same picture of Paige each month until she turned one....I am going to try my best to do this with Will too.  You can see he's filling out and even has a double chin!!!  

Paige turned 19 months this week as well.  If you want to see pictures of her from the past month, you'll have to look at previous posts...because once again, two kids are keeping me too busy and I keep forgetting to take pictures:)  

Are you kidding me?

This is how cold it is today:

RIDICULOUS!!!!!!  I woke up and the news said it was -12 in our town...the coldest day in 13 years!!  We're finally having gas logs installed tomorrow so hopefully today will be the last day of frozen glass on our fireplace!  

Since it's so cold, we're homebound so here's a picture of the kiddos from today.....

Our Little Man

Will is doing great!!! I took him to the doctor for his 2 week check-up this past week - He's already 8 pounds and is growing like a weed! He measured 1 and 3/8 inches longer than the day he was born. He's in the 95% for his height (he'll thank his dad later for that one!)

We've some visitors as well - Uncle Peter came back from Colorado for the week to meet Will and Rach, Cory and Addison came out to spend the day with us on Friday. It's been so much fun to introduce him to our loved ones:) Here are some pictures of our little guy, enjoy!

Adjusting....

When people have asked me how Paige is adjusting to being a big sister, I automatically say, "She's doing great!" Which is the truth....when she's around me at least! During the week, she continues to operate, play, and be her typical self. Then Ben comes home and everything changes. I've said it many times but Paige is completely a Daddy's girl. On the weekends, she starts the fake crying, getting out of her crib at bedtime, and becoming very clingy. It took me a few weeks but I have finally figured it out - Paige does not like to share her Daddy!!! So, we're adjusting.....and loving on our little girl as much as possible:) Here are a few pictures of Paige and Ben from their weekend together.

Family Time

Will went to the doctor this week for his weight check and to make sure he wasn't jaundice. His eye balls were looking a little yellow and I wanted to make sure that it wasn't too extreme. Turns out he has a very slight case that will go away on its own this week. He was a very well behaved baby and let the doctor examine him without even a wimper! He's regained his birth weight already and seems to be doing great. Yay!!
