Movin' on up!

I'm not sure where this year has gone - it seems like Paige was just going off to her first day of preschool and here we are, saying goodbye to a WONDERFUL year of school. If I could use one word to describe Paige's year, it would be growth. Growth on so many levels - yes, she grew taller - but she's also grown up so much. She is so far beyond the scared little girl I sent off to school on that first day. She has developed such a confidence in not only herself, but in her friendships and her understanding of and relationship with God. As a parent, there is nothing more joyful than to know that your child yearns to talk to God, talk about God and possesses a desire to know more about Him! Thanks, Ada Christian, for giving Paige such a wonderful year full of FUN, FRIENDSHIP and FAITH!!! She was devastated on the last day and can hardly wait for September to come around so she can be back with her buddies:)

My absolute favorite thing that Paige learned this year....why you may ask? Because when asked to draw a self portrait, she doesn't even know how to draw her body. Yet, she knows that a hair bow is absolutely crucial to the completion of her self portrait.

Another favorite (gymnastics) also came to an end this past week with a showcase. Any of you who know Paige may understand why this particular event was so monumental in our house. The girl who NEVER participates in front of people....and I mean NEVER.....actually did her routine and with a smile! We were so proud of her for showing us another way that she is growing up! Yay Paige!!!
